Christmas Fundraiser for Yorkshire Air Ambulance

A fantastic 'Life Saving' charity

One of our highlights of this year has been taking on Yorkshire Air Ambulance as our charity partner. They are an independent charity that provides a rapid-response emergency service to the 5 million residents of Yorkshire.

Their service operates 365 days a year, responding to over four emergencies daily. Whether it’s a road traffic accident, a medical emergency, or a severe trauma, their ability to reach patients quickly and provide life-saving interventions makes a crucial difference.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance relies entirely on charitable donations to fund its operations. It costs £19,000 every day to keep their helicopters in the air, covering fuel, maintenance, medical equipment, and staff training. Every donation plays a vital role in ensuring the charity can continue saving lives in both rural and urban areas of Yorkshire.

At Tri-Tech, we want to help in any way we can to raise funds and awareness for this essential service. On Friday 13th we held the first fundraiser; a Christmas Raffle. The prizes were generously donated by local businesses and included a family day out at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, a golf day at Rudding Park and beautiful handmade candles from Vixen and Todd.

With your support, we raised £700—enough to make a significant contribution to YAA’s daily operations. This amount could help fund essential medical supplies, fuel the helicopters, or even support the training of the paramedics who make this incredible service possible. We are greatful to everyone who participated in the fundraiser and a huge congratulation to the winners. This isn’t the end of our fundraising- every penny makes a difference…
